Writing can be a pain . . .
Well, it can if you've got the problem I have. How can I put this delicately? (Should a writer be asking such a thing?) I have an abscess. In the groin. It is THE most painful thing EVER. I can't sit, stand, walk or lie down without excruciating pain.
They say you should write what you know, so I guess next time I want to put my villain out of action I shall give him or her an abscess in just such an area! I would never do such a dastardly thing to my main character. Well, maybe never.
How good to read all your comments and see that I'm not the only procrastinator in the world (whew!) All I need to do now is find other ways to persuade myself to actually write.
As soon as I can comfortably sit again I intend to do some writing AND tell you in this blog what I've done. There, I've said it. Now I'll HAVE to follow through - LOL!
